SUPER clear water - Nicole is in about 3 feet - completely all sand bottom everywhere we swam.

Last Few Weeks...

June 27 Wild River State Park

Couple pictures from swimming today at Wild River State Park! Kids had a blast - we were there for about 3 hrs. Had some interesting weather last night - a few close lighting strikes and loud thunder, but ended around midnight. Will try to send video!

Spring Hikes - 2010

On Saturday, we hiked for a couple hours at Jay Cooke state park. The water is really low, but the weather was great! We decided to hike up the shore at Split Rock River - between Gooseberry Falls and the Lighthouse. All of us hiked over 4.5 miles yesterday - got a little sunburned too. Kids did great - had a LOT of fun!

Girl's Easter Surprises

The girls got matching outfits and new dresses for Easter, along with some other little surprises. Chris's parents came over and we had ham and cheesy potatoes - We also did an egg hunt outside (in the dark) with glow in the dark eggs and flashlights - they all thought that was great! It was Bonnie's (Scott's mom) birthday on Sunday also, so we were able to make cake and sing her happy birthday too.

Boy's Easter Baskets

Nate and Ben got to find eggs and their baskets earlier in the day - Nicole wanted to wait until Brooke arrived after dinner. Both were VERY happy with all the surprises!

Nathan's new Model Ship

Nate wanted to get a model ship (air craft carrier - of course) - Scott has been helping him put it together, and they have a lot of stickers and paint left to do. Will send updates as more gets done!

Ultimate Talent Competition - Nicole

Nicole had a competition in Superior today - they earned second place and 1st place silver for their routines. They did really well!
