Valleyfair with Frerichs

Nate and Nicole are staying with their cousins (Brooke & Ben), and Uncle Chris and Aunt Stacy this week in Chaska. Yesterday, they went to Valleyfair together - They did ALL of the rides, and had a great day!

LOOK WHAT WE DID TODAY! We got to see the Blue Angels, a warhog (A10) that they are currently using in Iraq and the WWII plane, P38. Weather was perfect!

More Birthday Pictures

Girls went swimming and had a scavenger hunt for the "goodie bags". After that, they had a quick water balloon toss. They all were REALLY tired, but it was a great party according to Nicole!

Birthday Campfire

Sun is shining today, but it is really cool outside! Girls are playing in the camper this morning.

Here's what we did last night around the campfire - we had smore's and did some fireworks. Hope to swim some today, will see what happens!

Nicole's Birthday Party

Nicole is having friends stay overnight tonight in the camper - Elaine, Brittney and Anna are here for a sleepover, campfire and swimming tomorrow. Hopefully the weather is nice!

Went to Mexico Lindo for her birthday dinner (her choice), I'll make cupcakes for later, and the girls want to have a scavenger hunt on the nature trails once it's dark out. Should be an interesting night!

Backyard Visitor!

Had a little visitor in the back yard this morning! Momma fox has been around a while in the neighborhood, but down the street 5-6 houses. I was in the bathroom and the movement caught my eye in the mirror - in the backyard, right by the swing set on the hill toward the fire pit.

She is sure helping with the bunny population!

Altoona, IOWA

A few pictures from our trip to Iowa, for my cousin Jim's wedding. The kids had a great time visiting playgrounds, seeing the Vietnam memorial airplane, swimming at the water park, and we all really had a fun weekend! couldn't leave IOWA without a picture in the corn field, right outside our hotel window...
